It looks like I let my icons accumulate again! ^^
For the first part of this post, I want to share some of the things that I'm thankful for. For one of the icon battles @
itsabattlefield, we were required to make 10 icons of things we were thankful for. I thought about doing a fun set (fandoms and such), but I decided to share what I'm truly thankful for (I think the last five might be kind of silly).

I'm thankful for my family. I know this is probably one we are "supposed" to put on our list, but I could not have made it this far without the support of my parents and younger sisters. |

I'm also really thankful for everyone one of my friends both IRL and RL! |

Yes, I was the one that got in trouble for reading with a flashlight and got my books taken away as a punishment. I don't get to read as much now because of projects and work, but I still love to read and have learned so much from books! |

Music is a huge part of my life. I've always loved to sing. I even studied voice as a minor (that wasn't a very good experience). I really miss being in choir. I love being able to sing in different languages! I've sung in Latin, Italian, and Mongolian in the choirs that I was in during college. Of course, I've sung in Korean, French, and Spanish on other occasions. Singing alto is so much more fun (I used to be a soprano, although I think my voice teacher classified me as a mezzo soprano)! |

I wanted to somehow convey my thankfulness for Korean culture. I'm so thankful that I was able to learn the Korean language (Hangul) and Korean culture (before it was popular, lol!). Of course, I also love the food! ^^ And the cute stationery. And the bakeries. And Koreatown. And the list goes on..... |

Coffee!!!!!! A few years ago, I discovered the joys of drip coffee and got rid of the coffee machine. I think it tastes better (it's less bitter and more flavorful), and I enjoy the process of grinding the beans and getting everything ready. It's a soothing, calming process for me. Yes, I also do like espresso. I usually go to my favorite coffee shops for that, although I do have a moka press and a milk frother that I use sometimes. For espresso, my usual go to is caramel macchiatos or a hot/iced americanos. During fall, it's pumpkin spice lattes, and during Christmas, it's peppermint mochas. |

Strangely enough, I enjoy tea as much as I enjoy coffee. I am currently into loose leaf tea and tea lattes. My favorite classic flavor is definitely Earl Grey. I also love Tea Forte's Mountain Oolong (which has some golden, peachy tones). Oh, yeah, I have an obssession for bubble tea (which is not always tea) and milk tea! I recently discovered this Chinese tea place that serves milk teas, bubble teas, and fruit teas. So yummy! |

Macarons. Well, really desserts in general. Cakes, cupcakes, pastries, pies, etc. My one goal in life (for baking, that is) is definitely to make macarons. |

Some might think it's odd, but I'm really thankful for origami. Sometimes, I do it for fun, but sometimes, it helps me to relax when I'm particularly stressed. It's also good for organizing (the icon is of my sticker organizer). I also like to fold decorative pieces, too. Like a bottle full of origami stars. Or Christmas ornaments. |

Colorful pens!!!! Using colorful pens really helps me to stay on top of things. I also like to use colorful pens when I journal. I tried bullet journaling and am hoping to give it another try next year, although I'm terrible at drawing. |

For the second part of this post, here are some various icons that I made for various challenges, battles, and icontests. These icons are a little different from my usual icons. For my icon-making process, I'm usually a creature of habit and follow the same basic steps. But lately, I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone and try some new techniques.
