NOTES

Upside Down: The Korean lyrics are from the song "검은 고양이 네로" (Black Cat Nero) which is a translation of the Italian children's song "Volevo un gatto nero." I know the cat isn't black, but I wanted to include some song lyrics that were about cats, but it was the only song I could think of! While it was originally known as a children's song (I remember learning it when I was little), it was also redone as a pop song by Turbo. Kim Jong-gook sang it on Runningman in episode 122, and I think it's my favorite version. Ateez also sings it, I believe.

Circle: The text is the solfege that Maria taught the children in The Sound of Music. Well, part of it, lol! It still looked bare, and the text made me think of when I learned how to sight-sing. I was seriously bad at it!

Dream Vacation: Well, of course, my dream vacation is going to Korea, but I was having a hard time incorporating pink until I came across this picture of Zapangi. It's a coffee shop in Seoul that has a pink vending machine as its door along with the pink dog. They have really cute desserts too, like unicorn ice cream and mermaid tail cakes. I am determined (in addition to going to historical places, museums, restaurants, etc.) to visit all the cool coffee shops in Seoul (and maybe other areas).

Rural: Inspiration hit me randomly. I remembered that there was this pink house in the middle of nowhere called The Pink House. The history behind it is quite interesting. A couple was getting a divorce, and one of the provisions was that the husband had to build the wife an exact replica of their current house. Well, she didn't specifiy where to build it, so he built in by a saltwater marsh in the ultimate act of spite. Hence it also being called a spite house.
