01: Random Character: Edmund Pevensie. I'm soooo glad I got Edmund! I don't think I give him enough icon love. I tend to icon Lucy and Susan and even Peter more than I do Edmund. >.<

03. Random Praise: "I like how the image stands out from the background." I decided to use a still from The Two Towers. I've always loved Éowyn's white dress, and I thought the scene would work really well for the prompt. For this icon, I tried to make Éowyn the focus of the icon and muted the colors of the background.

04. Random Screencap: --

05. Random Song: "Threat Letter Typewritter." I don't know this song, so I decided to see if the lyrics were inspiring. As soon as I saw the line "Write your address on this paper," I thought of Edmund from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and their address tags!

06. Random Tutorial: Tutorial by

sky_magenta. After trying this tutorial a couple of times, I knew that I wanted to find a cap that had purple tones already in it. For me, purple either equals Susan in Prince Caspian or Amy Dorrit from Little Dorrit. I started with my usual icon prep because the original steps for prepping the icon made the image too bright. I also took out the Brightness/Contrast layers for the same reason. I also added a transparent black gradient to the left side to darken the icon slightly.

07. Random Movie Poster: Just Tell Me What You Want (1980). I originally was going to go with the "fighting couple" idea, but I realized that I couldn't think of any couples like that! Lol! ^^ So I ended up going with the visuals in the poster. I went with the white background and red text (found a similar font too!) and the subject wearing primary colors. As I was looking through my screencaps/stills/images folder, I came across a photoshoot that Krystal did that had bright primary colors! The rest is history, lol!

08. Random Quote: “What's the world's greatest lie?... It's this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate.” - Paulo Coelho. My logic for this isn't straightforward, but I thought that if the lie is that we're not in control, then we really are in control. When I thought of control, I thought of being the boss. Of course, then I thought of "Big Boss" from The Descendants of the Sun.

09. Random Texture: This texture by evenstarss. As soon as I saw the texture, I knew I wanted to a complex icon with bright colors. I decided to go with Éowyn (again!), lol!

10. Random Font: Butch and Sundance. At first, I thought about doing a Western-themed icon, but, after coming across a still of IU in a purple outfit, I decided I wanted to make a complex icon with purples, pinks, teals, textures, and wings.

11. Random Trope: Finger Poke of Doom. This one was really hard! I decided to go with the basic idea of the trope: A character shows how powerful they are by performing an extremely destructive feat with no effort. One of my favorite things from the first episode of Detective Conan is when Ran punches a pole and tells Shinichi that she's not angry, although she is able to inflict quite a bit of damage to the pole.

12. Random Remake Icon: This icon. I don't normally make icons of my own photos, but that was the first! The photo was hard to work with because it isn't very HQ (thanks, cell camera!), and resizing the photo hides the details. I really liked the pinks and blues from the origami paper, so I decided to focus on that part rather than the whole image. I went for a painty look to hide the low quality and added some text to tie it together and cover the white space.

13. Random Song Title: "You Can Try." For this, I decided to for a more direct approach and though of Claire trying to save the dinosaurs in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

14. Random Icon Inspiration: This icon by

stilinskiargent. As soon as I saw Anna's green dress in the icon, I knew I wanted to use a still of Susan spinning around in her green archery dress. I decided to stick with similar coloring but with a more painted look, and I knew I wanted to capture the motion as well!

15. Random Palette: Lasca. I wasn't sure what I wanted to icon at first, so I started looking at different stills, when I came across Eun-sang's promo stills for his Beautiful Scars album. I really liked the dark blues and thought I could mess with them to match the purples of the palette. I was originally going to use purple for the background but ended up using the green and white instead. For the accent I used the red color.

16. Random Art: The Meeting of Joachim and Anne outside the Golden Gate of Jerusalem (Filippino Lippi, 1497). I decided to go with the primary and secondary colors, the painty look, and the couple as a subject for inspiration.

17. Random Album Cover: Virginity – With Time/Death To The Party. I ended up using the thick border and primary colors from the kid's clothes.When thinking of primary colors, I thought about using Krystal again, but I decided to go with Carmen Sandiego because, well, red is her color.

18. Random Book Cover: The Sword of Cyrngarth by Devora C. Locke. I liked the idea of the half-and-half composition, and I thought of Peter's sword Rhindon when I saw the sword.

19. Random word: "Undermine." I chose Saruman as my subject because he is definitely the epitome of one who undermines. He tried to undermine Sauron as well as the White Council/the Fellowship/the good side!

20. Random screencap pool: Emma (2009) (caps from kissthemgoodbye.net). As soon as I saw this cap, I knew it was the perfect cap! I really had fun trying out different backgrounds for the scene. I just wish I could've come up with better text! The look that Emma and Mrs. Weston give each other is priceless, and Harriet looks so spaced out even if she is reading a book!
