Here's my set for icons10in20 I was feeling inspired to make icons from Tomorrow, lol! I wonder why? ^^

*Made in 2022: Okay, this is really about the AGUCCIM. Goo Ryeon thought that she bought a Gucci hoodie for Joon-woong. But the funnier part is that AGUCCIM is basically a transilteration for agu-jjim (also known agwi-jjim), a Korean fish dish. AH-GUCCI-M. My mom didn't get the joke right away, but I was totally dying!

**Out and About: This scene is outside a building although you might not be able to tell in the icon. It's the part where Joon-woong is at his new job and is trying to convince his co-worker not to commit suicide when the Grim Reaper trio shows up.

That out and about is one of my favourite scenes!:D Awesome colour and animation on that!
LOOOL!That hoodie one is a great choice, I didn't get the fish dish reference either,I was just focused on the logo like is it supposed to be fake Gucci or what?!
The glow icon is so cool! The fact that the blonde is her fake hair is just funny for some reason because her pink hair is...not anywhere natural!
The extreme close crop is so well done,great cap choice. The kiss one hurts!HUUURTS!

Lol, yeah, the hoodie one was definitely fake, but I loved the extra pun, lol!

For the fake hair one, I thought that just doing the pink hair would be too easy although technically it would count since her original self had black hair. So I thought it'd be fun to turn her pink hair blonde. Surprisingly, it turned out pretty well!

Yeah, I know right! I cried so much! There weren't any "kiss" scenes in Tomorrow (well, except some side characters), and I wanted to be a little creative.

The coloring of 1 is awesome! I also really like the composition of 2 and crop of 3 :)

When I tried the yellow in #1, it turned out so well that I tried coloring the rest of the background and their clothes!

I'm glad that you liked the composition of #2. It was so experimental, and I wasn't sure if the backgrounds would go with her outfit.

#3, I knew I wanted to capture her snapping her fingers. I'm glad the crop turned out so well.

Omg gorgeous coloring in Cropped Out - the cmy colors remind me of jsfunction. I really love the depth in it, too - especially hard to achieve with flat coloring like this! O_O

Gorgeous retro look on Decorative, I love the drawn animation in Glow, and the blurred face in Extreme Close Crop.

D'awwww! I'm so glad you liked #1! I really liked that one! I had tried that sort of coloring on a lot of different icons, but that was the first icon that really popped.

I'm also glad you liked the retro look on Decorative. I find coloring Asian period stuff is hard because of the skin tone (it turns out to be so yellow). Although sometimes modern stuff can have similar issues. I had edited a photo of myself when I had black hair (although I look very Asian, my coloring is a little more Caucasian then Asian), and I ended up being pretty yellow too! ^^

Hahah. :D But yes, I agree. Skin tones always require special handling at the end. It took me a while to get the hang of that. I not only do it for Asian skin tones, but for all of them.

I know right! Depending on what coloring style I do, I usually use complementary colors to help with the coloring (like using violet to tone down yellowness or green to help with redness) or re-coloring with gradient maps. I'd love to know what your trick is for skin tones.
